Direction and Present Status
Along with its vision and mission, SLTCFI’s resources and hard work is directed towards establishment and maintenance of industry partnership. This is considered by the institution as special projects for skills upgrading for instructors/trainers, skill matching for the industry and academe and industry immersion for students. Finally, this industry linkaging is the primarily modality of the institution in generating employment for its graduates.
Thus, far, this effort has been the key to success of SLTCFI’s strong presence both in the academe and industry. Aside from the job placement assistance that it has already technical support to a number of industries most specifically for business process
Need for budget and scholarship funds
The socio-economic slump in the Bicol Region brought by various calamities and the perennial insurgency in Albay and nearby provinces called for a daring challenge. As such, the Region still ranks among the poorest regions in the country today.
Aware of the oozing potentials if given better and brighter opportunities, the Bicolano youth shall find himself among the best IT professionals in the global market. This is the primary reasons why the Institution’s scholars, NGO scholars or, government scholars.
